On April 29, a group of Crittenden Regional Hospital and UAMS employees put on their walking shoes to support the National Walk at Lunch Day. National Walk at Lunch Day is a national program sponsored by the Blue Cross & Blue Shield Association, the Arkansas Department of Health and the Department of Human Services. The observance encourages employees to walk during a portion of their lunch break to promote personal fitness and to foster regular worksite wellness activities.
CRH would like to remind you that regular, brisk walking is one of the simplest and safest forms of exercise. A regular walking program can help control weight, condition the heart and lungs, strengthen bones and help you take the first step to a healthier future.
