CRH Homecare kicked off a month-long celebration as West Memphis Mayor Bill Johnson officially proclaimed November as National Home Care and Hospice Month.
More than 11 million Americans receive home-delivered health care. In honor of all its Caregivers, Crittenden Regional Hospital Home Healthh and Hospice (HHH) joins the National Association for Home Care & Hospice in celebrating November as National Home Care and Hospice Month. The themes, "Preserving Health Independence and Freedom" (Home Health Care); "Love in Action" (Hospice); and "Honoring Those Who Honors Others" (Home Care Aide Week, November 9-15) will be celebrated at all HHH facilities in the region.
"Caring for the sick, elderly and dying in their homes is truly a privilege for us," said Cindy Parker, Director Home Care Services. "Home Care professionals, volunteers and modern medicine make it possible for people to stay in their homes, regardless of their condition. This month we want to honor care giving heroes who make a remarkable difference in the lives of patients and the families they serve."
The Crittenden Regional Homecare and Hospice West Memphis office will hold an Open House on October 30. Other events during November include the annual Hospice Memorial, Open Houses at CRH Homecare agencies in Forrest City, Marked Tree and Osceola and special events to honor our homecare aides.
