Crittenden Regional Hospital's Pediatric Clinics Receive 4-Star Recognition

Crittenden Regional's Mid-South Pediatric Clinic and The Children's Clinic were named 2008 Professional Research Consultants, Inc. (PRC) 4-Star Clinics in the Outpatient Clinic for Patient Perception category at the 2008 PRC Client Education Conference held recently in Baltimore, Maryland.

PRC is a nationally-known healthcare marketing research company headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska.

This designation is given annually to healthcare facilities or healthcare providers that score in the top twenty-five percent of PRC's national client database for the prior calendar year. More specifically, it is further defined as those facilities or healthcare providers in the top twenty-five percent that score between the 75th and 89th percentiles. It is based on the percentage of patients who rate the facility or healthcare provider "Excellent" for the Overall Quality of Care Question.

This patient perception research is conducted to obtain the opinions of the patients at both clinics via telephone for a confidential interview to assess their perceptions of patient care. The research findings are then presented to the hospital or health facility to use in continuous improvement and enhancement of patient satisfaction.
