Crittenden Regional Hospital Opens New Internal Medicine Clinic in Marion

Crittenden Regional Hospital is pleased to announce the opening of their new Internal Medicine Clinic in Marion, Arkansas on April 19, 2010. Shakeb Hashmi, M.D., the Medical Director of Mid-South Internal Medicine Clinics, and Amna Zaidi, M.D., will see patients at the new clinic located at 310 Judge Smith, Marion, Arkansas. The clinic aims to deliver quality, patient-focused, comprehensive health care services in association with sub-specialist partners at CRH.
“Our vision is to give our patients a high quality care with dignity and respect in a cost effective manner. CRH has been serving Crittenden County for years and this new facility demonstrates their ongoing commitment to the community,” states Dr. Hashmi.

Dr. Hashmi has served in many roles at Crittenden Regional Hospital since 1997, and is currently serving as the Chairman of the Emergency Room and the Hospitalist Committee. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine and is licensed in Arkansas and Texas. After receiving his Medical Degree from the prestigious Aga Khan University in Pakistan, he went on to complete his Internship and Residency at University of Tennessee in Memphis, Tennessee.

Dr. Amna Zaidi received her Medical Degree from the Sindh Medical College in Pakistan and joined Crittenden Regional Hospital after completing her Internship and Residency at the University of Tennessee in Memphis, Tennessee. She is a Member of the American College of Physicians and is licensed in Arkansas and Indiana.
