Crittenden Regional Hospital’s Sports Medicine Program will begin naming an Athlete of the Week to recognize local athletes whose accomplishments on the field or court demonstrate a high level of determination, skill and success. The athlete will receive a Crittenden Regional Sports Medicine T-Shirt with Athlete of the Week inscribed on the back. The school’s athletic department will receive a check for $25.00 to go towards its general athletic fund.
As a community service, and to demonstrate the Hospital’s commitment to our community’s young people, Crittenden Regional Hospital provides a Sports Medicine Program and a certified athletic trainer to our local school systems. The Athlete of the Week Award is an additional way to recognize young athletes and their schools.
CRH Sports Medicine Athlete of the Week Gabe Dalmeda was instrumental in the Patriots’ victory against Wynne on September 4th. Gabe played extremely well on both sides of the ball and scored a touchdown on an 80-yard fumble recovery to ensure a Patriot victory.
